Someone should have sat me down long ago and forced me to watch episodes of Perry Mason. Raymond Burr is now my crush for July.

School is winding down for the year, so I have many a final to look forward to (including one tomorrow) and then one glorious month off before heading back to school in October. Night classes can't come soon enough - this 8-4 schedule is simply not for me.

Shawn is applying for a job at the hospital in Kelowna, so on August 2nd we rent a car and cross our fingers. Please think positive thoughts for him; this would be a significant improvement over the call centre.

I've been watching Big Brother even though it makes me feel dirty.

I've fucked up my back yet again and am waiting for it to heal. Damn you, poor core strength!

I think I'm massaging at a weekend retreat in mid-September. A Christian Youth Retreat, can you believe it? Other than that I'm just going to try and recover from eight straight months of school, which is definitely taking its toll.

It's going by so fast. School is going to be so OVER before you know it.

I also have back problems but definately not as complicated as yours have been. Mine have been easily dealt with by taking Ibuprofen but I've been told it's not good for you to take it regularly. So I'm trying to quit.

Also (also has become my favorite word by the way), what would he be doing in the hospital? For some weird reason I'm picturing, or maybe just hoping, that it will be all macabre and secretive and CSI-like.

I was really lucky and had our sports massage instructor work on me after our exam on Friday. One of my hips was rotated forward, so everything was suffering. I still hurt, but much less so. I have a Tylenol 3 that I'm stashing in case it gets any worse but other than that I'm indulging in my Motrin Super-Strength.

Shawn would be doing the same thing that he used to do once upon a time at the Moncton Hospital - Systems Analyst. Medical databases and such.

On the CSI note, my closest friend here in Vernon is not only a student at the college, but a psychologist who works part-time as a county Coroner. Bizarre, no?

I'm enjoying Big Brother so far this season. I'm so pissed that Maggie won HOH, though! As petty as the show is, the calibre of players is leagues better than last summer!

I'm watching the nominations ceremoney RIGHT NOW. Kaysar and James are up for eviction! It's the battle of the hotties. Kaysar is utterly beautiful.

Yeah, I agree. I actually really liked her until the last few couple of weeks. As opposed to Janelle, who I really hated, but who I now love. She's definitely the smartest girl there. And Kaysar I've loved since day one. OK, I admit I love him more the last few weeks. *swoon*
